Project Highlight: Malmaison Hotel, Oxford City Centre
We were recently contracted to carry out essential maintenance on two large skylights at the prestigious Malmaison Hotel in Oxford city centre. The skylights were experiencing issues with misted double-glazed units and water leaks, while the surrounding gullies had become overgrown with vegetation.
Our expert team undertook the following work:
• Carefully stripped back both skylights to assess and address areas of concern.
• Replaced damaged rubber gaskets to restore the integrity of the seals.
• Removed and replaced several of the misted double-glazed units, greatly improving clarity and insulation.
• Thoroughly cleaned out the gullies to remove all vegetation and debris, ensuring proper drainage and preventing future water ingress.
Our professional, meticulous approach has restored the hotel’s skylights to full working order, delivering both functional improvements and a renewed appearance for this renowned city centre property. 
Project: Restoration of Wooden Doors and Windows at Kingfisher Barn, Abingdon
This project involved comprehensive restoration of timber doors and windows that had been left unmaintained for several years. Our work included fully stripping back the windows, replacing several double-glazed units, and repairing or replacing damaged sections of the frames. We also renewed most of the timber beads to ensure the longevity and security of the fittings. To finish, all surfaces were professionally treated with three coats of high-quality exterior paint, revitalising the appearance and providing lasting protection for years to come.
